Job Title : Jira Administrator

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of the JIRA platform.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the JIRA system.
• Provide assistance and support to end-users in utilizing JIRA effectively.
• Address and resolve user issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide guidance on best practices.
• Customize JIRA workflows, screens, fields, and other configurations based on the organization's needs.
• Implement and manage custom schemes and configurations.
• Integrate JIRA with other tools and platforms to facilitate seamless collaboration and data flow.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration with version control systems, build tools, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and manage security measures, including access controls and permissions.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Create and maintain JIRA reports and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and performance.
• Collaborate with teams to design meaningful and actionable reports.
• Plan and execute JIRA software upgrades and apply patches as needed.
• Test and validate new releases to ensure compatibility with existing configurations.
• Conduct training sessions for users and teams on JIRA functionalities and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation on JIRA processes, configurations, and guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, or system errors promptly.
• Collaborate with vendors or other support channels when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the JIRA environment.
• Stay updated on new JIRA features and functionalities and assess their relevance to the organization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and project management teams, to align JIRA configurations with project requirements.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize JIRA's performance.
