Basic Functions / Job Responsibility
- Lead policy development and advocacy on priority themes with an evidence-led, practical approach.
- Represent the organisation in high-level dialogues and roundtables, communicating clear and balanced positions.
- Craft persuasive policy artefacts including consultation responses, position notes, and white papers that stand up to scrutiny.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to anticipate issues and brief leadership and members with sharp, actionable analysis.
- Convene and steward cross-functional and member working groups to reconcile viewpoints into coherent recommendations.
- Contribute to thought leadership through publications, public speaking, and strategic partnerships.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
Qualifications & Experience :Masters degree in public policy, Law, Economics, or a related field and 612 years experience in public policy, within technology or the digital economy.Deep familiarity with the DPDP Act and leading privacy frameworks (e.g. GDPR), with an informed view on emerging AI governance.Experience in competition and antitrust in digital markets, including practical familiarity with CCI processes and guidance will be an added advantage.Proven track record engaging with policymakers and regulators in India.Strong policy writing and analytical capability with the judgement to translate complexity into clear recommendations.Skills & Attributes :Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building.Confident external communicator with a collaborative style.Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; resilient, organised, and attentive to detail.Why This Role :A platform to influence consequential debates at the intersection of technology and society.The chance to shape positions that are principled, pragmatic, and outcomes oriented.Visibility with senior stakeholders and opportunities for authorship, panels, and broader ecosystem leadership.Locations
