Basic Functions: Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States’ largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for positions of entry-level detailer or detailer with some experience positions at our business unit located in Noida. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following: - Reading and understanding transmission line drawings and project specifications - Assist in creating 3D models and detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor - Revise and update drawings based on red lines or feedback from engineers and senior detailers. - Ensure BOMs are accurate and align with procurement and fabrication needs - Learning and ensuring all work comply with utility pole industry standards, safety codes, and internal detailing guidelines - Meeting deadlines while ensuring quality work - Collaborating and communicating effectively with local and international teammates - Managing tasks in a fast-paced environment - Working overtime when needed to meet project goals Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: - Able to communicate in English - Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Draughtsman certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, Senior Secondary Education, or equivalent - One or more years school or work experience with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo, NX, or Catia Preferred Qualifications: - Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering Diploma - One or more years’ work experience with regular Autodesk Inventor use - Competency using Bluestar Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Fusion Manage, or similar software Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer – M/F/Disabled/Vets – and a drug – free workplace
