Position : Area Sales Manager (primary standardized title : Area Sales Manager)
Location : India — On-site
Role & Responsibilities
- Own sales targets for an assigned geographic territory : drive revenue growth by executing territory plans, achieving monthly / quarterly quotas and tracking KPIs.
- Develop and expand distribution and channel partnerships : identify, onboard and enable distributors, resellers and recruitment partners to scale coverage.
- Manage key accounts and new business : prospect enterprise and mid-market clients, present solutions, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet ARR targets.
- Execute field-sales activities : conduct regular customer visits, demos, workshops and market mapping to increase product adoption and retention.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM : update opportunities, provide weekly sales forecasts and collaborate with operations for smooth onboarding and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally : work with marketing, customer success and product teams to localize offers, run promotion campaigns and resolve escalations quickly.
