Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Support position located in Bengaluru. The IT Support specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting issues related to desktop computers and information technology systems. The role includes managing help desk support requests and ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring Windows, Linux, or Mac systems
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), MDM tools like JumpCloud, Sophos, etc.
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees
- Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts using JumpCloud
- Performing regular checks on VPN users and security monitoring of devices
- Ensuring data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Documenting IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborating with other IT teams and vendors for system improvements and issue resolution
- Asset tracking and management
