Production Associate

Job Description :

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Production Associate.

This position will be based in Pune, India.

As a Production Associate you will :

To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company are adhering with the companies EHS policy.

Reviewing, maintaining EHS standards procedures and complying it at the site.

Communicating management actions and company future prospects to all the associates in timely manner.

Ensuring that Managing shift staff, quality targets are achieved adhering company's Quality Systems, processes and procedures for smooth production processes

Review, Monitor, measure and report on production operation related process performance ,100% RFT, improve efficiency at minimum operating cost, Project Management Office, and general issues of all associates.

To work closely with other Shift Incharge to ensure production handovers are done with effective communications tools.

To Review, monitor, measure company's continuous improvement plan, 5S Programme and Waste Management Programme and work with the Shift Incharge and production associate to achieve plans for future growth within the company.

To work closely with Shift Incharge in monitoring, reviewing training schedule plan and training effectiveness plan for Production associates to enhance Production associate and contract associate skills periodically.

Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff.

Conducting Production meeting with QC & Maintenance department regularly to ensure hassle free operations and working on the MOM of the meeting.

Ensure Daily standing meeting in presence of QC / maintenance and SCM is executed in productive manner.

Conducting meeting with Assistant Production Manager regularly by presenting current production performance, putting forth demand for Resource needed and discuss on future plans

Accountable for verification of stock for Raw Material, Packing Material and reporting to Assistant Production Manager

Accountable for multiple audits as EHS / Inventory / ISO / Responsible Care

Coordinate with Sales team / CSR team for customer feedback reviews and attend any product complaint with speedy RCA documentation process through QA / QC.

Improvement opportunities following LEAN

What skills and experiences are we looking for

Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering from reputed college, with 5-7 years of working experience

Work experience in batch production at Chemical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG company

To Manage shifts, production management capability and documentation
