Job description

1. Sales & Negotiation

  • Ability to persuade and close deals while maintaining trust.
  • Strong objection handling skills.
  • Understanding buyer psychology and tailoring pitches.

2. Communication

  • Clear verbal and written communication (presentations, emails, WhatsApp updates).
  • Active listening—to understand client needs instead of just selling.
  • Multilingual ability (English + local languages) is a big plus in India.
  • 3. Networking & Relationship Building

  • Building long-term relationships with clients, investors, and channel partners.
  • Maintaining professional connections to generate referrals & repeat business.
  • 4. Market & Product Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of local real estate market trends (pricing, demand, regulations).
  • Awareness of competing projects and USPs.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial aspects (RERA, stamp duty, home loans, tax benefits).
  • 5. Digital & Marketing Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (like Salesforce, Zoho, or MagicBricks CRM).
  • Social media marketing (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Online lead generation & nurturing via property portals (99acres, Housing, MagicBricks).
  • 6. Presentation & Showcasing

  • Conducting site visits and property showings with confidence.
  • Ability to highlight features & benefits in a way that connects emotionally with the buyer.
  • Skilled in using virtual tours, videos, and presentations.
  • 7. Financial & Analytical Skills

  • Ability to explain EMIs, ROI, rental yields, appreciation potential.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel / financial calculators for quick calculations.
  • 8. Problem-Solving & Adaptability

  • Handling client concerns (pricing, documentation, loan approval delays).
  • Staying resilient in a volatile market.
  • Adapting strategies when demand shifts (luxury vs. affordable, residential vs. commercial).
  • 9. Time & Self-Management

  • Managing multiple clients, follow-ups, and site visits effectively.
  • Discipline in updating CRM and tracking leads.
  • Setting priorities between hot leads vs. cold leads.
  • 10. Trust-Building & Ethics

  • Transparent dealing (very important in Indian real estate post-RERA).
  • Always putting client interest first to build credibility.
  • Delivering on promises (handover timelines, amenities, legal clarity).
