FR Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FR (Financial Reporting) Team Lead to join our team. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in asset management accounting and a proven ability to prepare and review complex financial statements. You'll be instrumental in leading client engagements, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and mentoring a team to achieve excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Leadership :
• Prepare and review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS .
• Lead assigned engagements , including planning, budgeting, client relationship management, and delegating tasks to staff.
• Ensure the accuracy of footnote disclosures in line with all relevant standards by reviewing legal fund documents.
• Coordinate the year-end financial statement process and present information to clients and external auditors.
• Team Management & Development :
• Provide guidance to team members to help strengthen specific knowledge areas and achieve team goals .
• Identify errors or problems, investigate independently, and recommend solutions to the team or managers.
• Attend meetings and training to enhance your knowledge and pass it on to junior staff.
• Business & Client Relations :
• Recognize and communicate potential opportunities for new clients and service enhancements for existing ones.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for clients upon request and assist with preparing Request for Proposals (RFPs) for prospective clients.
• Troubleshoot Fund Accounting issues and contribute to researching and communicating recent authoritative pronouncements globally.
