The Head of Infrastructure & Operations leads cloud engineering squads across the cloud core services such as Kubernetes Hosting, Developer Tooling, Security, and Reliability. This role drives scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP and Azure to support modern application needs. It demands deep technical leadership, a strong focus on automation, and a commitment to operational Responsibilities : Strategy & Execution :
- Define and drive cloud strategy across Azure & GCP in line with business goals.
- Lead cloud migrations, hybrid cloud planning, and cloud-native architecture initiatives.
- Assess and adopt emerging cloud technologies for business value and Engineering & Automation :
- Oversee scalable infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps best practices.
- Lead Kubernetes adoption and CI / CD pipeline management (GitLab).
- Champion SRE and platform engineering to boost reliability and developer Compliance & Governance :
- Embed security controls in infrastructure design and operations.
- Enforce IAM, tagging, and governance policies across Azure AD & GCP IAM.
- Lead audit responses and ensure compliance across cloud & Cost Optimization :
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, and costs.
- Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and incident management.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-mortems for cloud-related & People Development :
- Lead and grow high-performing cloud, DevOps, and security squads.
- Foster technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor future leaders and build deep technical & Vendor Management :
- Align infrastructure with application and business needs.
- Manage cloud vendors and support contracts were looking for :
- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of aligning technical roadmaps to business goals.
- Effective communicator and influencer, skilled at driving alignment across teams and senior stakeholders.
