About the Role : .

As an Account Director Enterprise, the person will be part of the Enterprise Segment for South Region Direct Sales.

This role will focus on driving adoption of Cloud within Enterprise accounts, focusing on AWS cloud consulting services.

Role expects the team member to be business savvy and should have technical sales background necessary to help establish Rapyder in the Enterprise Segment.

The person will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and managing strategic accounts and commercial deals with to drive business growth for Rapyder.

The person will work closely with leadership to develop initiatives, plan events and sales strategies along with the partners to meet defined performance, engagement and revenue growth objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Drive sales growth and team development through the creation of Enterprise strategy, sales management and strategic leadership.
  • Develop and execute business development strategy and plan both short and long-term.
  • Responsible for company sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of market revenue generation from Enterprise Sales vertical.
  • Put in place Strategies and plans to ensure 100% presence across all emerging business opportunities within the identified business verticals & also ensure that the company emerges in Competitive and winning positions.
  • Apply strategic go-to-market models and more tactical approaches to grow profitable Enterprise engagements and revenue base.
  • Build a cohesive, productive team, leverage individual skills and collective talents for making winning proposals and associated business development efforts.
  • Conceptualizing and executing strategy and market plans for increased sales growth and business development.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with CXOs in key accounts.
  • Work with ISV / OEM / AWS BDMs to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure to help launch account specific plans, workshops, engagement programs.
  • Market Intelligence Build account specific databases, contacts through social media, web Requirement :
  • Need Experienced Candidate who comes from direct sales, key account management, cloud computing background.
  • Non-IT sales or IT channels / alliances traction will not be accepted.
  • Persons with govt / PSU sales experience can be considered.
  • Minimum 8+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at large enterprise accounts through leading outbound prospecting teams.
  • Must have experience in selling Cloud services.
  • Good to have experience in AWS Cloud services.
  • Leadership Skills : proven record of being a team player, speaking binary [precise, concise choice of words] and work in an uncertain business environment.
  • Leadership is a behavior and not a formal role in this JD.
  • Represent the core five values of Rapyder and imbibe the same in daily behavior.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Business communication is vital and we cannot conduct training on this.
  • Accurate, nuanced, direct, and kind messaging.
  • Being able to work independently, build relationships and respond quickly.

  • Proven ability to analyze sales data, predict market trends, and customer needs, and identify new opportunities for cloud solutions.

  • Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Practical understanding of the usage and value of the following systems and architectures : .
  • Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure.
  • Architectural benefits of SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS platforms.
  • A willingness to learn, a curiosity to discover and a drive to make your customers successful.
