This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, shared services, auditors, and external tax consultants, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance across all financial and tax-related activities.
Key & Statutory Compliance
- Manage and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and ensure alignment with COE Technical Accounting directions.
- Prepare reconciliations between US GAAP reporting and statutory financial statements; ensure transparency and visibility in reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation of accounting records for statutory audit purposes.
- Support annual external and internal audits, providing all required documentation.
- Assist corporate tax teams in maintaining statutory chart of accounts for tax purposes.
- Support the preparation of the Corporate Annual Reporting Package.
Indirect Tax (GST)
Manage all monthly and annual GST filings, including refund processes.Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts against GST filings in ERP.Escalate tax-related issues, propose action plans, and work with leadership to resolve them.Liaise with tax authorities during indirect tax audits, as required.Direct Tax
Responsible for quarterly and annual income tax filings.Collaborate with external firms to review tax adjustments.Oversee monthly direct tax filings such as TDS / TCS.Monitor and manage tax expense deductibility in compliance with local regulations; highlight non-compliance risks.Support corporate tax team in Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance.Track and monitor intercompany transactions ensuring appropriate legal documentation.Represent the company in direct tax audits with authorities, if required.Other Compliance & Reporting
Prepare statistical and compliance reports required by local government agencies.Manage additional statutory compliance activities as assigned by leadership.Key Requirements
Bachelors or master's degree in Accounting / Finance; CA qualification preferred.Minimum 10 years experience in accounting and statutory compliance within a US / European MNC environment (manufacturing and commercial sector exposure required).Prior audit experience in a Big Four or mid-tier firm is an advantage.Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IND AS, and local tax regulations.Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel & PowerPoint); experience with SAP and Oracle HFM preferred.Excellent command of English (written and spoken).Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.Highly organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines systematically.Effective interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Strong team player with a positive and collaborative mindset.Why Join Us
