Role Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for driving institutional business for the Mutual Fund by acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with institutional investors. This includes Domestic Institutions, Corporates, Banks, Family Offices, Pension Funds, and other large investors. The role demands strong relationship management skills, product knowledge, and the ability to deliver investment solutions aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development : Identify, target, and acquire new institutional clients to enhance AUM (Assets Under Management).
- Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-term relationships with Treasurers, CIOs, Fund Managers, and decision-makers at institutions.
- Sales & Revenue Growth : Achieve sales targets across debt, equity, hybrid, and other mutual fund products.
- Market Intelligence : Track competitive landscape, client investment patterns, and industry trends to provide actionable insights.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product, investment, and operations teams to provide seamless client servicing and customized solutions.
- Compliance & Governance : Ensure adherence to SEBI and AMFI guidelines, as well as internal compliance processes.
- Client Engagement : Organize and participate in investment forums, roadshows, and client events to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Key Requirements
MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification.8–12 years of experience in Institutional Sales within Mutual Fund / Asset Management / Treasury / BFSI domain.Strong network and established relationships with Institutional Investors in Mumbai / Western Region.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Deep understanding of mutual fund products, financial markets, and investment strategies.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Skills Required
