The role includes oversight of accounting standards implementation, ensuring compliance, responding to internal / external information requests, and driving process improvements to strengthen the company’s financial integrity and governance.Key ResponsibilitiesManagerial Responsibilities- Recruit, mentor, and manage Finance team members as per business requirements.- Drive performance management, provide coaching and counselling, and ensure team development.- Enhance engagement and retention of key talent.Functional ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and IRDAI / statutory compliance.- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Oversee quarterly results, performance reviews, and press release preparation for stock exchange submissions.- Review Expenses of Management (EoM) for IRDAI compliance.- Lead implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) projects.Process Improvement & Initiatives- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and optimize resources.- Drive automation in financial reporting to reduce manual effort and enhance accuracy.Compliance & Governance- Ensure accurate transaction records and timely reporting to management, board, and regulators.- Maintain high standards of compliance and financial governance.Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, investors, and internal stakeholders.- Communicate financial performance, strategies, and risks effectively to the Board and other stakeholders.- Review and validate financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations, disclosures, and regulatory submissions.Job RequirementsQualifications : - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce from a reputed university.- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent international qualification preferred.Experience : - 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in a managerial role.- Strong background in a regulated industry such as insurance or financial services.Skills : - Strong knowledge of insurance fundamentals, products, and processes.- Expertise in business accounting, financial planning, and regulatory / shareholder reporting.- Proficiency in business analytics, planning, and forecasting.- Digital proficiency : Advanced MS Office, automation tools, and digital platforms (Android / Apple).Interested candidates can share their updated resume on
