Role Overview :
- We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Manager - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to strengthen our governance and control frameworks while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- This is a strategic role that combines oversight, risk management, compliance monitoring, and policy development. The Deputy Manager will collaborate with leadership, business teams, and external stakeholders to drive a culture of compliance, ethical conduct, and risk awareness across the organization.
Key & Policy Development
Establish, review, and enhance governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Ensure policies are clearly communicated, implemented, and adhered to across business units.Risk Management :
Design and implement enterprise-wide risk management frameworks covering operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.Conduct periodic risk assessments, scenario analysis, and mitigation planning.Work closely with business teams to embed risk awareness into day-to-day decision-making.Compliance & Audit Oversight :
Conduct compliance audits, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure adherence across functions.Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and legal teams to maintain transparency and trust.Maintain compliance dashboards and risk registers for leadership review.Regulatory Engagement :
Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory filings.Act as a bridge between SarvaGram and regulatory authorities, ensuring proactive engagement and resolution of issues.Stakeholder Collaboration & Training :
Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, risk, product) to integrate GRC processes into core operations.Drive organization-wide awareness, training, and capacity building on governance and compliance practices.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law, or related field.
Experience : 610 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance within financial services, fintech, or BFSI sectors. Exposure to rural finance or micro-enterprise ecosystems is a strong Proven track record in developing and implementing GRC frameworks.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to NBFCs, financial services, or rural banking.Skilled in compliance audits, risk assessments, and policy Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to risk and compliance.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
