We’re seeking a dedicated Remote Freight Broker with a strong sales background to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the company’s success through sales and client acquisition.
Position Overview :
As a Freight Broker , you will be at the forefront of our sales and operations, focusing on developing new business and maintaining relationships with carriers and customers. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales growth and ensuring seamless coordination between all parties involved in the logistics chain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales & Business Development : Generate new leads, establish business relationships with potential clients, and close deals in freight brokerage services. You will focus on sales, working to expand the client base and increase revenue.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and follow-up.
- Carrier Liaison : Negotiate rates and terms with carriers. Ensure the best possible options are selected for each shipment while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis : Identify market trends, customer needs, and new opportunities to expand the company's service offerings.
- Logistics Coordination : Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure smooth delivery and handling of shipments. Resolve any issues related to shipments and ensure clients are kept informed.
- KPI Achievement : Meet sales targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on expanding the client base and ensuring operational efficiency.
