We are currently hiring on behalf of our EdTech partner, which offers industry-relevant certification programs designed to upskill professionals and bridge the talent gap in various sectors.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Officer (BDO) , you will be instrumental in driving the sales of our innovative certification courses. This is a client-facing, field role that involves prospecting, conducting in-person meetings, providing course consultations, and converting leads into active customers. You will work closely with sales leadership to meet ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads within the assigned territory through direct outreach and networking
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations to promote certification courses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions and organizations
- Address customer queries and effectively communicate course value propositions
- Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets through consistent outreach and pipeline management
- Participate in promotional events, exhibitions , and other lead-generation activities
- Track and report sales activity, customer feedback, and competitor insights to Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales strategies and product offerings
- Stay updated with EdTech trends and continuously upgrade sales skills and product knowledge
Candidate Requirements
1–2 years of sales experience in the EdTech sector or B2B salesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence in product demonstrations and consultative sellingWillingness to travel within Mumbai and assigned areasKnowledge of the education industry landscape and existing network (preferred)Self-motivated, result-oriented, and a team playerBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related fieldWhat our client offers
