Business Development Specialist is responsible for conducting in-depth
consumer and market research identifying potential buyers and industries and initiating outreach efforts through
email phone LinkedIn and sample kit addition to traditional order processing and internal
coordination duties this role emphasizes sales strategy KPI tracking and CRM / data management.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Research & Lead Generation
o Conduct consumer and market research to uncover new business opportunities
o Identify high-value leads such as Engineering Managers and R&D Directors
o Source prospects via LinkedIn internal databases and research
Sales Outreach
o Build outreach campaigns through email phone and LinkedIn
o Prepare and distribute tailored sample packets to potential clients
o Track communications and outcomes in a centralized spreadsheet
Sales Process Support
o Generate and maintain cost estimates and project quotes
o Review engineering drawings and upload BOMs to internal systems
o Request and organize vendor quotes
o Process orders and traveler request forms
Project Coordination
o Assign project IDs and coordinate meetings
o Create and maintain detailed project timelines
o Assign tasks and track progress across project phases
o Monitor and report on project costs
Performance & Data Management
o Consistently update spreadsheets to track outreach efforts lead status and conversion progress
o Monitor KPIs related to lead generation outreach engagement and sales conversion
o Report findings and insights to help refine strategy and prioritize leads
Qualifications :
Experience in sales customer service or business development roles especially B2B or technical industries
Strong research and analytical skills; ability to find and qualify sales prospects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
Self-starter with a positive attitude critical thinking ability and adaptability
Proficiency / advanced in English communication reading and writing
