We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst II to join our Middle Office Platform team. This role is located in Chennai.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :
- Responsible for managing overall availability, reliability, and defect prevention
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve service disruptions
- Identify, define, and implement required monitoring and automation solutions
- Work closely with developers on continuous integration / continuous delivery solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues
- Review and evaluate project plans and objectives to ensure they meet system needs
- Monitor changes to applications and their operating environment
- Create and maintain support documentation and procedures
- Ability to deal with time sensitive issues in support of critical service level commitments
- Contribute to the achievement of area objectives
- Willingness to work weekends
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial4-6 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology requiredExperience in the securities or financial services industry is a plusKnowledge and / or prior experience supporting Middle Office trade processing and trade flowAbility to reconcile and validate trade capture and day trading activity in a timely and accurate mannerCoordinate with front office and other support teams, locally and globally, to address trade-related enquiries and issuesExperience in DevOps CI / CD pipeline creation and executionLinux system administration experienceExperience with IBM MQ / messaging and Rabbit MQ middleware queuesExperience supporting Ruby, Java, and .NET framework applicationsExperience with PostgreSQL databases and writing complex SQL queriesExperience with monitoring tools a plus – Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Moogsoft, or related solutionsFamiliarity with ITIL Service ManagementAbility to troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to the appropriate sectionPrioritize and handle service requests, incidents, change management, and problem ticketsAnalytic and data-driven experience in supporting applications part of the Trade LifecycleAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at :
