Category Lead – Oil || 4-12 years || B2B || CTC upto 25 Lakhs

We are seeking a Category Lead – Oil to manage end-to-end category operations including sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and demand planning.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the sourcing and procurement of oil category materials in alignment with business goals.

Develop and implement category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability.

Drive demand planning and forecasting in coordination with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, and production).

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; ensure supplier compliance and performance monitoring.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.

Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on price trends, supply risks, and industry developments.

Collaborate with the supply chain and planning teams to ensure smooth material availability and inventory management.

Generate periodic reports on category performance, spend analytics, and supplier KPIs.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.

Experience in demand planning and supply chain operations.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

4-5 years’ experience in managing Oil Category
