Job Description :
SOLIZE is seeking a Business Development Manager – Simulation Solutions (North Region) to drive new business acquisition and account growth across Government (Aerospace, Defence, PSUs, R&D Labs) and Commercial (OEMs, Tier-1s, private enterprises) sectors.
The role involves promoting Hexagon and VI-Grade simulation solutions, identifying customer engineering challenges, and proposing value-based software solutions. The candidate will lead regional sales efforts, manage key accounts, and collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver high-impact results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Account Management
Lead and manage Business Development activities for Key Private and Government Accounts in the North region, driving growth for the Simulation Business.Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with customers in Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, and emerging industries.Achieve revenue and growth targets through strategic account management and business expansion.2. Customer Engagement & Solution Consulting
Meet with customers to understand their engineering challenges, problems, and technical requirements.Propose tailored simulation and engineering software solutions that address customer needs and deliver measurable value.Collaborate closely with internal technical and presales teams to map out the most effective technical solutions.Present and demonstrate Hexagon Software and VI-Grade solutions effectively to both technical and business audiences.3. Regional Sales & Revenue Management
Drive regional sales performance for the Delhi / North India region, maximizingprofitable revenue growth.
Focus primarily on Hexagon Software and VI-Grade product lines, expanding their footprint across target industries.Develop and execute strategies to increase market share, improve customer retention, and build long-term relationships.4. Leadership & Collaboration
Act as the lead for the Simulation business in the North region, coordinating with presales, delivery, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.Demonstrate strong leadership qualities by guiding internal teams and supporting cross-functional collaboration.Provide regular reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior management.Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.8–10 years of experience in selling Mechanical Engineering Software Solutions (CAD / CAE / Simulation tools).Proven track record in software sales or business development within reputed engineering or technology companies.Strong understanding of CAD, CAE, Simulation, and Automation technologies, and their application to solve customer engineering challenges.Excellent knowledge of Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, and Manufacturing sectors in the North India region.Hands-on professional with strong leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated success in visualizing and executing business development, sales, and team management in competitive environments.Good to Have
Prior experience with Hexagon Software, VI-Grade, or competitor tools (e.g., Dassault, Siemens, Ansys).Behavioral Competencies
