Head of Sales – India Subcontinent

Location : India (Remote)

Company Profile : For IFCCI's Client - A French origin multinational software company

Job Role : We are looking for a highly motivated hunter Sales Head to accelerate our growth across the India sub-continent (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc.). This is a remote position with significant autonomy and responsibility. You will be responsible for winning new accounts, generating leads, and driving market penetration, while also managing selected key accounts to maximize revenue.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES :

Business Development

  • Actively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in India sub-continent.
  • Build a strong pipeline by targeting strategic industrial sectors (automotive, aerospace, metallurgy, energy, medical).
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales target

Territory Expansion

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the India sub-continent.
  • Identify growth opportunities within large industrial groups and their subsidiaries.
  • Increase Company’s visibility and footprint in the region.
  • Account Management

  • Nurture relationships with strategic customers, ensuring cross-selling and upselling of additional solutions.
  • Secure long-term engagements while keeping a strong focus on hunting.
  • Sales Execution

  • Master the value proposition of Company’s key software solutions and articulate competitive advantages.
  • Prepare impactful proposals with the support of internal teams (Product Managers, Technical Experts, R&D).
  • Lead negotiations and close deals efficiently.
  • PROFILE – WHO YOU ARE

  • A true hunter with proven success in acquiring new customers in a B2B industrial environment.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Solid track record in industrial sales with long and complex sales cycles.
  • Fluent in English and other regional language (Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, etc.).
  • Strong skills in prospecting, cold outreach, negotiation, and closing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : autonomous, proactive, ambitious, and target driven.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the India sub-continent.
  • YOUR ASSETS

  • Experience in technical software sales or engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, forging, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Passion for technology and industrial innovation
  • POSITION DETAILS

  • Location : Any major city in India.
  • Contract Type : Permanent full-time.
  • Work mode : Full remote, with frequent business travel.
  • Training : Full onboarding and product training provided.
