We are seeking a skilled Netcool Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with Netcool applications, providing support, and ensuring system reliability and :
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Netcool applications and ensure their optimal performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in real-time using Netcool monitoring tools.
- Implement and configure Netcool solutions based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve escalated incidents and improve system functionality.
- Document all incidents and changes in the incident management system.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as needed.
Skills and Qualifications :
3-8 years of experience in IT support or Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.Strong knowledge of IBM Netcool products and their architecture.Experience with ITIL processes and service management.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash.Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.Understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP, SNMP, etc.) and monitoring tools.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.(ref : hirist.tech)
