ATG Support Engineer - IT Operations

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled ATG Operational Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for Oracle ATG Commerce platforms. This role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of ATG-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ATG commerce systems, production support, and performance Responsibilities :

• Provide L2 / L3 operational support for ATG-based applications, ensuring uptime and stability.
• Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Manage and support deployments, releases, and patches for ATG applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve application issues.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles for recurring issues.
• Work within incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Provide on-call support during off-hours / weekends as Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ATG Commerce (Dynamo, BCC, CSC, CRS, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java / J2EE with good understanding of ATG architecture.
• Experience in application servers (WebLogic / JBoss) and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ability to write / debug queries.
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management Skills :
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) for hosting ATG applications.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to microservices and integration with third-party systems.
• Familiarity with CommerceTools, CDM, or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus
