Sales Planning Sr. Specialist

Job descriptionServe as the primary point of contact for data input files related to sales planning, ensuring the integrity of data within sales planning systems. Manage and analyze key datasets, including sales performance metrics and territory definitions, to identify trends and areas for improvement. Define and maintain territory definitions aligned with business objectives, ensuring territories are accurately loaded and maintained in Varicent. Conduct territory reviews in response to attrition or other ad-hoc business events as required. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and opportunities, fostering collaboration across internal teams. Partner with the Sales Planning Analyst to load quota data into Varicent and ensure that end users can access necessary data and insights for effective planning. Analyze territory performance metrics and assist with plan phasing, compiling necessary data to share with analytics and Power BI teams. Ensure relevant data / reporting loads into Varicent accurately and conduct user testing prior to phase releases for annual planning. Utilize Salesforce and other data analysis tools to drive strategic decision-making and sales performance. Maintain proficiency with workflow management software and project management tools to support organizational initiatives. 3-5 years experience in Sales Planning or a related sales execution role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Expertise in deriving insights from data, account management principles, forecasting, and competitive intelligence analysis. Proven ability to work in a large organization and adapt to new systems and processes. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams in a global, fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and process improvement, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
