Role Summary :
As a Telecaller, you will make outbound and receive inbound calls to potential and existing customers, explain our herbal product range, follow up on leads, handle customer queries, and contribute to achieving sales / conversion targets. You’ll bridge between marketing + product teams and our end-customers, helping articulate product benefits, brand values and ensuring delighted customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Make outbound calls to prospective leads (for example : people who signed up on our website, social-media inquiries, previous customers) to introduce our brand and product offerings.
- Receive inbound calls from interested customers;
respond professionally,share product details, pricing, offers, shipping & returns information.
Understand customer needs / preferences (skin / hair / health concerns) and suggest appropriate herbal solutions from our portfolio.Follow up on previous calls / leads to move them along the purchase funnel (interest → consideration → purchase).Maintain and update accurate records of all calls, interactions, customer details, and product interestsAchieve daily / weekly / monthly calling, lead-generation and conversion targets (as defined by Sales / Marketing).Collaborate with marketing and product teams : share customer feedback, queries, objections, and suggestions to shape offers, scripts, and product development.Stay up to date with product knowledge (ingredients, benefits, usage instructions, promotions) and regulatory or compliance aspects (herbal claims, wellness regulations) as applicable.Handle customer objections, rejections, and queries with patience and professionalism.Provide input into improving call scripts, promotional offers, customer engagement tactics based on field experience.Uphold the brand’s voice, values and customer-centric ethos in all interactions.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum educational qualification : 12th pass ;a bachelor’s degree in any stream preferred
Herbal D2C Experience is a must.Excellent communication skills (spoken & written) in English + HindiStrong interpersonal skills, courteous phone manner, ability to build rapport quickly.Persuasive, goal-driven, with the tenacity to follow up and close leads.Good listening skills – ability to understand customer concerns, ask clarifying questions, and suggest relevant products.Basic computer skills : MS Office (especially Excel / Word) & ability to work with telephone systems.Ability to work under pressure and meet calling / sales targets.Positive attitude, resilience in face of rejection, willingness to learn and adapt.Prior experience in tele‐sales, call centre, or customer service is a plusInterest in herbal / wellness industry, some knowledge of skincare / haircare / ayurvedic products would be beneficial. (Preferred)
