Description : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager / Assistant Manager Sales to manage and expand business operations across Noida, Ghaziabad, and UP West. The role involves developing strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key partners, driving secondary and primary sales, and leading a motivated sales team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in consumer goods or consumer technology sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Revenue Growth :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned territories.
- Drive both primary and secondary sales through effective distributor management.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and ensure brand visibility.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions to ensure target achievement.
Channel & Distribution Management :
Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.Ensure effective product placement, stock availability, and timely replenishment at retail points.Conduct regular market visits to ensure channel satisfaction and compliance with company policies.Identify and onboard new distributors or retail partners to enhance market coverage.Team Management & Training :
Lead, motivate, and train a team of Sales Officers / Sales Executives / ISRs to achieve sales goals.Conduct regular training and development sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends.Review team performance and implement strategies for skill enhancement and productivity improvement.Market Intelligence & Business Development :
Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark pricing, promotional activities, and channel programs.Provide market feedback to the marketing and product teams for product development and positioning.Execute local promotional campaigns, retail activations, and marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness.Operational & Administrative Responsibilities :
Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and adherence to sales processes.Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth product availability.Manage credit limits and ensure timely collections from distributors.Maintain accurate documentation for sales operations, distributor performance, and market intelligence.Qualifications & degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (MBA 45 years of experience in Sales / Territory Management / Channel Sales, preferably in consumer electronics, FMCG, or consumer durables.
Proven experience in managing distributors and retail sales Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.Technical Proficiency :
Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Excel, and data analysis for sales tracking.Understanding of digital sales and marketing trends is an advantage.Personal Attributes :
