Quantitative Systems Engineer | FPGA & C++ | Low-Latency Trading Systems
About the Role
We’re looking for a Quantitative Systems Engineer to design and optimize ultra-low latency trading infrastructure powering next-generation algorithmic and quantitative strategies. You’ll work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and FPGA engineers to build systems that push the limits of performance in financial markets.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement high-performance, low-latency systems in C++ (17 / 20) for real-time market data processing and trade execution.
- Collaborate with FPGA teams to integrate hardware acceleration into the trading stack.
- Optimize system-level performance — including network stack tuning, memory management, and latency profiling.
- Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant trading infrastructure with microsecond-level SLAs.
- Partner with quants to prototype and deploy models, ensuring efficient data flow and minimal execution lag.
- Conduct detailed latency and throughput analysis to continuously improve trading system efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Strong programming skills in modern C++ (17 / 20) and proficiency in multi-threaded, real-time systems.Experience in FPGA-based acceleration, hardware / software co-design, or low-level network optimization (TCP / UDP, kernel bypass, DPDK).Solid understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, OUCH, ITCH).Hands-on experience with Linux systems programming, performance profiling, and debugging tools.Exposure to quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, or high-frequency trading environments.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.Nice to Have
Experience with Python for research and automation scripting.Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and FPGA design tools (e.g., Verilog / VHDL, Vivado, Quartus).Familiarity with cloud-based simulation frameworks or real-time data analytics.Why Join Us
Work on cutting-edge trading infrastructure impacting live markets.Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers and quantitative researchers.Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.Opportunity to own systems end-to-end, from design to deployment.
