Job description3–6 years of experience in PI System administration / support. Hands-on expertise in PI Data Archive, AF, Vision, Interfaces, Connectors. Strong experience with OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, Modbus, SQL, RDBMS. Knowledge of SAP / LIMS integration, Python, SQL, and .NET scripting. Understanding of Windows server administration and cybersecurity best practices. Strong problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement. Ability to work under pressure in 24x7 environments. Documentation and SOP preparation skills.
Job Opening : PI System Engineer / Administrator
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled PI System Engineer / Administrator to support HZL’s PI ecosystem. The role involves administration, monitoring, integration, reporting, and cybersecurity compliance for OSIsoft PI System and related automation. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Quality, Digital) to ensure high availability, security, and optimal utilization of the PI System.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer PI System servers, interfaces, and applications (24x7).
- Manage PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), Vision, Interfaces, and Connectors.
- Ensure uptime, backups, patching, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Integrate new assets and support third-party system integrations (SAP, LIMS, Power BI, Azure).
- Develop and maintain PI Vision dashboards, resolve data issues, and generate KPI reports.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, manage SSL certificates and access roles.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive automation improvements.
