Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Reservation Executive to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the very first point of contact. Your friendly demeanor and efficient approach will set the tone for our guests' stays and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
- Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
- Provide detailed information about room types, rates, availability, and hotel amenities to potential guests
- Utilize up-selling techniques to maximize room revenue and enhance guest experiences
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are recorded
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any booking-related issues
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel promotions, packages, and local events
- Generate and distribute daily reservation reports to relevant departments
- Assist in managing group bookings and corporate accounts
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry standards in all reservation processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reservation procedures and guest satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Reservation Executive or in a similar role within the hospitality industryStrong guest-focused personality with a commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceProficiency in Opera Cloud or similar reservation management systemsExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication abilities in English, both verbal and written; additional language skills are a plusDemonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyBasic computer skills and familiarity with various reservation software and online booking platformsKnowledge of hospitality industry standards, practices, and trendsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferredSkills Required
