Job Title : Head of Sports Academy – Operations & Administration

Key Responsibilities :
To oversee day-to-day operations of the Vedant Sports Academy ensuring efficient facility management, customer satisfaction, safety, and smooth coordination of all sports and recreational activities. Responsible for supervising staff, managing schedules, maintaining infrastructure, and supporting event operations.
1. Facility Operations Management
Supervise daily operations of sports facilities such as gym, swimming pool, indoor & outdoor courts, and recreation areas.
Ensure all sports infrastructure, equipment, and utilities are in safe and operational condition.
Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive upkeep.
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the premises.
2. Administration & Scheduling
Prepare and manage schedules for sports activities, tournaments, and events.
Handle bookings, memberships, and user registrations.
Maintain daily attendance and usage records of members and guests.
Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
3. Staff Supervision
Supervise coaches, trainers, lifeguards, housekeeping, and support staff.
Plan duty rosters and monitor staff attendance and discipline.
Conduct regular team meetings and ensure proper communication of work instructions.
4. Customer Service & Engagement
Ensure excellent member service and resolve complaints promptly.
Coordinate with members, coaches, and event organizers for smooth activity flow.
Support marketing or promotional activities to increase membership and participation.
5. Safety & Compliance
Implement safety protocols, emergency procedures, and first-aid readiness.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and facility regulations.
Conduct regular audits for fire safety and equipment condition.
6. Event Coordination
Plan and support sports tournaments, community events, and training programs.
Coordinate logistics, materials, and manpower for smooth event execution.
Prepare event reports and post-event evaluations.

Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education / Sports Management / Hospitality / Business Administration.
Diploma or certification in Sports Facility Management preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in sports complex / recreation center / hospitality operations .
Experience handling day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and event coordination in a sports environment.
