Job Overview :

Managing Taxation, TDS, Company ITR, Responsibilities and Essential Duties :

• Supervision of monthly TDS, TCS, GST payments and tax returns.
• Calculation and timely payment of Advance taxes and SA tax.
• Validation of monthly / periodical income tax & deferred tax working for group reporting.
• Advisory on day to day tax matters like TDS, TCS, GST and other Direct / Indirect tax matters.
• Tax advisory / planning of intra group transactions, preferably from DTAA, MLI / BEPS perspective, and coordinating for revision / appeals on account of any favorable court rulings or legal development.
• Engaging of local CA / Lawyer and coordinating for VAT / CST / GST routine assessments of all states.
• Ensuring timely filing of objections to first appellate authorities for any unfavorable assessment orders.
• Representation before Maharashtra sales tax authorities for special scrutiny.
• Coordination with Deloitte for Income tax and transfer pricing scrutiny / regular assessment.
• Coordinating with auditors and getting tax audit (3CACD) and transfer pricing audit (3CEB) done in time.
• Coordinating with group tax team, consultants and ensuringtimely compliance of Master File and CbCR reporting.
• Coordinating with consultant and timely fillingof annual Incometax return (ITR).
• Arranging necessary PoA and coordination with consultants for local tax compliances of group companies those assessable in India.
• Guidance and supervision on tax refund applications and GST ITC.
• Advisory / review of documents for special transactions pertains to HSS, SEZ and EPCG from taxation angle.
• Advisory on varioustax incentives schemesunder FTP and DGFT policies.
• Updating finance and business team on all tax amendments.
• Coordinating for necessarychanges in SAP.
• Coordinating with legal department for necessary application for any advance ruling (AAR) and filling appeal or cross objections to second appellate authorities, Tax tribunal or High court(s) in relation to all tax dispute matters.
• GST returns GSTR -1, GSTR-3, GSTR 2A / 2B reconciliation ( 3 returns p.
