Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester with strong expertise in LoadRunner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, and stress tests to ensure the scalability and stability of our applications. This role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, a proactive problem-solver, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning : Plan and define performance test strategies and create comprehensive test plans.
- Scripting : Design and develop test scripts for performance, load, and stress testing using LoadRunner.
- Test Execution : Execute various performance tests and analyze the results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Reporting : Generate detailed performance test reports and present findings to technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot performance issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitoring : Monitor application performance during testing to collect key metrics and data.
- Best Practices : Implement and advocate for performance testing best practices within the organization.
Technical Skills :
Performance Testing : Extensive experience with performance testing methodologies and concepts.Tools : Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner.Programming : Proficiency in a programming language suitable for scripting (e.g., C, Java, or Python).Monitoring Tools : Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and application profilers.Databases : Knowledge of database performance tuning and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Required Experience
