Associate Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
• Diagnostic Procedures : Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and other relevant investigations.
• Treatment Planning : Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and patient education.
• Critical Care Management : Managing critically ill patients in the ICU with respiratory failure or other severe respiratory conditions, potentially involving mechanical ventilation and close monitoring.
• Consultation : Providing expert advice to colleagues on respiratory-related matters and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
• Communication : Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
