Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, performance, and availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide Level 2 / 3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.
Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.
Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.
Support in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys / Control-M .
Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana ) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.
Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required.
