I. About Change Engine

Change Engine runs India's premier accelerator for non-profits. We support exceptional founders build ' non-profit unicorns ' - organisations that impact a million people or more meaningfully. We also published the first evidence based playbook for building non-profit unicorns. Our goal is simple : help build 20 non-profit unicorns over the next five years.

Over the last couple of years, we've worked with over 10 non-profits . They are working on improving India's science & research ecosystem, alleviating poverty through cash transfers and building a tech-enabled platform for scholarships, amongst others. Our cohort organisations have raised $2M+ other than our catalytic funding in a short period. Our work has been covered in leading publications such as the Economic Times , The Tribune , IDR amongst others.

II. Founding Team

We are a team of founders & builders with extensive experience scaling organisations.

Varun Aggarwal is an entrepreneur (Aspiring Minds, $100M+ exit), AI researcher (1500+ citations) and author (science, deeptech and children books). He also co-founded FAST, India which collaborates with the government to improve India's science and research ecosystem. At Aspiring Minds , Varun built AI-led programming and speech assessments which were sold globally to Fortune 500 companies.

Shubham is an IIT Delhi alum & previously co-founded a social impact startup backed by Y-Combinator. Shailendra , an ISB alum, is a senior product leader with experience building products at MakeMyTrip & Spinny.  Our advisors and cohort mentors include Raman Oberoi (ex-COO, CRISIL), Mukul Singhal (Partner, Pravega Ventures), Vivek Mathur (Partner, Elevation Capital), Priya Naik (Founder, Samhita), Sridhar Rajagopalan (Founder, Education Initiatives) and others.

III. Role : Head of Partnerships and Outreach (Founding Team)

We are looking for an experienced Head of Partnerships and Outreach to come on-board as a founding team member. You will closely partner with the founders to develop and implement a strategy to build a network of partners, supporters and funders, to amplify our impact.

The responsibilities of the role include the following :

• Ecosystem Strategy : Design and execute a clear strategy to engage funders, corporates, government, and ecosystem partners aligned with Change Engine's mission.
• Events & Convenings : Lead high-value engagements such as donor roundtables, policy dialogues, and ecosystem convenings to bring the right people together
• Cohort Support : Work with cohort organisations to strengthen their partnership and fundraising strategies; connect them to funders, government, and other ecosystem partners.
• Fundraising & Resource Mobilisation : Cultivate and manage relationships with UHNIs, foundations, CSRs
• Government Partnerships : Build and manage relationships with ministries, state departments, and agencies; and enable cohort organisations to scale through government partnerships
• Strengthen brand :   Establish and grow Change Engine's brand among funders, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders through thought leadership, media presence, and consistent engagement.
