Job description

Activeport is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager focusing on acquiring new customers and driving leads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding Activeport's market presence in the Indian region.

About you

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in B2B head hunting with a proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing new clients.
  • Experience working with telecommunication or data centre industries.
  • Fluent English and excellent presentation skills- both written and verbal
  • Understanding of automaton software solutions a bonus.

Work Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Working Days : Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development : Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Hunting and Acquisition : Proactively seek out and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Needs Assessment : Understand clients' business needs and challenges to tailor Activeport's solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Presentations and Demos : Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of Activeport's offerings.
  • Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales quotas.
  • Market Intelligenc e : Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with international and local teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards targets with global team.

    Activeport Group is an ASX listed software company based in Australia. We design, implement and support network automation software solutions for global Telcos, Data Centres and IT Departments.
