FCSD Tech is looking for Software Engineers that embrace Agile Programming principles to deliver innovative software products for Ford Motor Company and our Dealers and Customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and / or project requirementsExperience using source code management tools such as Endevor and GitHubQuick starter to troubleshoot / resolve incidents and business support itemsAbility to perform application support tasks : systems support, security / audit reviews, and maintenance tasksWillingness to assist and troubleshoot current Mainframe environment, participating in production support / pager duty rotation, including weekend and off-hour support coverageExperience with CA Agile Central (Rally), backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile ToolsHighly effective in working with other Mainframe Engineering and DBA technical specialists, Product Managers, and business partnersAbility to multi-task effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgencyQUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications we seek :
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent8+ years experience in mainframe development background in design, analysis and coding : COBOL (IMS), JCL, CA7, DB2 and / or SQL, Teradata, and real-time and batch processing.1 Year Experience in Mainframe modernization1+ years experience implementing z / OS connect, SFTP, SOAP and REST APIs, and other methods for system to system communication and data exchangeAbility to design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and / or project requirements1 year experience in Big QExperience using source code management tools such as Endevor and GitHubQuick starter to troubleshoot / resolve incidents and business support itemsAbility to perform application support tasks : systems support, security / audit reviews, and maintenance tasksExcellent teamwork, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are essential, ability to solve complex problems in a global environmentAbility to multi-task effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgencyUnit and integration testing experienceAbility to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problemsOur preferred qualifications :
