Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and independent Mainframe Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications.

In this role, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from creating high-level architecture to writing and deploying code, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed customer Responsibilities :

• Design & Development : Architect, design, develop, and deliver complex software solutions using various tools, languages, and frameworks.
• Full-Stack Implementation : Develop both back-end components (APIs, microservices) and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Problem Solving : Engage with customers to understand their requirements and solve complex problems by creating user-centric software.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects, to deliver high-quality products.
• Quality Assurance : Define and implement software testing strategies and processes to ensure application performance, quality, and security.
• Process Improvement : Continuously optimize applications, improve development efficiency, and implement modern practices like CI / CD and test-driven development.
• Technology Evaluation : Assess and incorporate emerging technologies to enhance our solutions and technology Qualifications :
• Experience : A minimum of 6+ years in IT, with 4+ years in a hands-on development role.
• Education : A Bachelor's Technical Skills :
• COBOL
• JCL
• DB2 / Mainframe DB
• Coding Proficiency : Practical experience in at least two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one.
• Work Ethic : Must be able to work independently.
