Job Position (Title) : Privileged Access Management (PAM) Analyst

Experience Required : 4 + Years

Location : Hyderabad / Gurugram

Role Summary :

The PAM Analyst is responsible for managing and securing privileged access across enterprise systems. This includes enforcing access controls, implementing PAM solutions, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Access Control & Governance :

Enforce privileged access controls across platforms and applications.

Partner with governance leads to measure, report, and improve PAM controls.

Define and implement PAM policies, procedures, and standards.

Technical Implementation :

Administer PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk PAS) including safes, access policies, and user accounts.

Support onboarding / offboarding of privileged accounts.

Respond to and resolve PAM-related incidents and service requests.

Risk & Compliance :

Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and internal IAM standards.

Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on PAM metrics and risks.

Collaboration & Training :

Work with cross-functional teams to define PAM requirements.

Develop training materials to educate stakeholders on PAM principles.

Participate in forums and audits related to IAM / PAM.

Continuous Improvement :

Drive modernization of PAM processes, tools, and technologies.

Identify anomalies in access patterns using data analytics.

Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles.

Required Qualifications :

3–5+ years of experience in PAM, identity governance, or IT security.

Strong knowledge of PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk), Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos.

Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python), SQL, and data analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI).

Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy).

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

CyberArk Defender or similar PAM certifications.

ITIL Foundation certification.

Experience with cloud IAM solutions and federation protocols (OAuth, SAML).

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
