Key Responsibilities :
Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from SIEM tools such as Azure Sentinel, Splunk, or similar platforms.Assist in the initial triage of alerts to identify potential security incidents.Escalate verified incidents to the L1 / L2 team as per defined procedures.Maintain and update daily / weekly security monitoring reports.Support in creating and refining detection rules and use cases under supervision.Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and best practices.Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure proactive defense against potentialRequired Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents).Exposure to Azure Sentinel or any other SIEM platform (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, etc.).Familiarity with Windows / Linux OS, networking basics, and cloud security concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity operations.
