Director of Business Development

Position Overview :

The Head – Business Development (BESS & Private PPAs – Solar) will be responsible for leading the company’s business growth strategy in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar projects under Private Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). This senior leadership role requires strong industry relationships, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of renewable energy markets, financing models, and regulatory frameworks.

The incumbent will drive end-to-end business development, from opportunity identification and client engagement to contract finalization and strategic partnerships, contributing directly to the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Business Strategy & Growth

• Formulate and implement business development strategies for Solar and BESS projects under Private PPA and C&I models.
• Identify and develop new markets, customers, and strategic opportunities to expand the company’s footprint in the renewable energy sector.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to define annual business targets and achieve revenue, margin, and capacity addition goals.
