Senior Data Engineer – Cloud Data Solutions

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Talend, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, and Microsoft Azure to join our growing data engineering team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures that power analytics and business decision-making across the organization.

You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders — ensuring data is accurate, scalable, and always available for insight generation.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and Optimize SQL Solutions : Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to ensure top-tier performance.
• Build & Maintain ETL Pipelines : Design and manage robust ETL / ELT workflows using Talend, integrating data from multiple systems.
• Architect Cloud Data Platforms : Manage and optimize data storage and workflows on GCP BigQuery and Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics.
• Automate Workflows : Use tools like Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and schedule automated data processes.
• Ensure Data Quality & Governance : Implement standards for data security, consistency, and compliance across cloud environments.
• Collaborate & Mentor : Partner with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
