Role Overview :
The incumbent will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the organizations social and community development programs. The role requires a proven professional with strong corporate connects, excellent relationship management skills, and hands-on experience in raising funds through CSR partnerships and individual donors.
The position involves managing both existing donor relationships and building new partnerships, with a strong focus on corporate fundraising.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify new funding avenues through corporates, foundations, and HNIs.
- Strengthen existing relationships with CSR partners and ensure continued engagement.
- Drive the end-to-end fundraising cycle including outreach, proposal development, negotiations, and closure.
2. Corporate Partnerships (Major Focus)
Engage with senior corporate leaders (CSR Heads, CHROs, CFOs, CXOs) to secure funding partnerships.Build long-term strategic alliances with corporates under their CSR mandates.Conceptualize and pitch partnership models aligned with corporate CSR objectives.Ensure timely reporting, impact communication, and stewardship for corporate donors.3. HNI & Individual Donor Management (Secondary Focus)
Identify and onboard high-net-worth individuals and philanthropists.Develop personalized engagement and communication strategies for sustained giving.4. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with program, finance, and communication teams to create impactful proposals and donor reports.Represent the organization in external forums, events, and CSR networking platforms.Maintain donor databases, fundraising dashboards, and track performance metrics.5. Team & Process Leadership
Mentor and lead junior team members in donor engagement and proposal development.Institutionalize best practices in fundraising processes, documentation, and compliance.Candidate Profile :
Experience : 1220 years in fundraising, CSR partnerships, or corporate relationship management.
Preferred Backgrounds :
Professionals from CSR foundations, corporate fundraising roles, or corporate banking (relationship management / institutional sales).Strong corporate network and understanding of CSR funding mechanisms.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising / revenue targets.Entrepreneurial mindset proactive, persuasive, and goal-driven.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Should have grown through field-level experience with an appreciation for on-ground execution and impact.Key Attributes :
