Role Overview
Kumaraguru Institutions is seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to manage key human resources functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance . The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HR, with proven expertise in talent acquisition, people engagement, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle : sourcing, screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and offer rollout.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job portals, social media, networking, employee referrals).
- Conduct preliminary candidate assessments and coordinate with hiring managers for technical and HR interviews.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of selected candidates.
2. Employee Engagement & Experience
Implement employee engagement programs, events, and surveys to enhance workplace culture.Support employee wellness initiatives, grievance handling, and retention strategies.3. HR Operations & Compliance
Support in HR documentation, employee records, contracts, and HRIS / ATS database management.Ensure compliance with institutional policies, labor laws, and higher education regulatory requirements.Support payroll coordination, leave management, and HR reporting.Required Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Mandatory).3–5 years of HR experience , preferably in higher education institutions or industry.Strong knowledge of recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in HR software, job portals, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).Strong analytical skills with experience in HR metrics, MIS, and reporting.Skills Required
