Position : Assembly Technician – PCB Assembly

Salary : ₹12,000 per month

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician specializing in PCB Assembly to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for soldering, assembling, and testing PCBs as per design inputs and industry standards. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational technical knowledge and a passion for electronics assembly, offering an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform soldering of both SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and PTH (Plated Through Hole) components of all packages onto PCBs in accordance with BOM, circuit diagrams, and assembly instructions.

Operate both automatic and manual soldering tools effectively, ensuring precision and reliability in assembly work.

Carry out rework and repair processes for both SMT and PTH components as required.

Identify and handle passive and active electronic components of various packages accurately.

Ensure adherence to IPC-A standards for PCB assembly and maintain quality throughout the process.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workstation in safe, clean, and functional condition.

Document assembly processes, inspections, and rework activities as per quality standards.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production and quality targets.

Essential Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electronics / B.Tech (Electronics or related field).

0 to 1 year of experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing (freshers can apply).

Skills Required

Knowledge of passive and active electronic components across multiple packages.

Strong hands-on skills in automatic / manual soldering and rework processes (SMT & PTH).

Basic understanding of IPC-A standards for PCB assembly.

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills in electronic assembly.

Attention to detail with commitment to quality and precision.

Ability to follow technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions accurately.
