Job Description -

We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist to join our team, with a strong background in advanced inspection technologies and data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ultrasonic testing methods and modern signal processing techniques, with the ability to support both field operations and technology development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Perform advanced NDT inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT), and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize inspection procedures for diverse materials and component geometries.
  • Collect and analyse inspection data, applying signal processing and data interpretation techniques to ensure reliable defect characterization.
  • Collaborate with engineering and software teams to integrate inspection data into digital platforms and automated inspection systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, clearly communicating inspection findings and recommendations.
  • Support training, knowledge-sharing, and technology adoption across the organization.

Desired Skills and Experience -

  • Proven experience in NDT methods including UT, EMAT, and PAUT.
  • Strong understanding of wave propagation, defect sizing, and flaw characterization principles.
  • Experience with signal processing, data visualization, and analysis tools .
  • Familiarity with software applications relevant to NDT data acquisition and interpretation (e.g., CIVA, MATLAB, Python-based tools, or similar).
  • Ability to work with both manual and automated testing systems, including integration with advanced instrumentation.
  • Certification in UT / PAUT preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
  • Additional Attributes -

  • Experience in developing or adapting NDT methodologies for specialized applications.
  • Knowledge of digital twin concepts or automated inspection systems.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across domains such as mechanical, software, and data engineering.
