General Information

Job Title       : Dy manager / Manager – Bid Support / Estimation

Reports to   : Lead – Bid Support

Type             : Permanent – On-roll

Job Purpose :

The role is to be responsible for conducting detailed Site Survey, preparation of Detailed BOM for overall SPV System, PV Layout, SLD, PV syst Simulation, Vendor interactions, Optimum Cost Estimation etc., Also, candidates with detailed engineering experiences will be highly preferred.

Key Skills :

Strong Understanding of latest products and System related to Solar PV, Electrical System Design, Solar Design, CAD, Electrical, System performance, civil and mechanical, Regulatory and Standards Knowledge, latest Market Trends like Energy Storage[BESS], Hybrid Renewable energy will be preferred.

Description of the roles and responsibilities, Key

• Single point responsibility for Bid Estimation / Proposal during Business development process for Ground / Roof mounted solar systems by doing Detailed system design conceptualization, arriving at optimum generation data, preparing PV Layouts, Bill of material and SLDs, Vendor interactions, Optimum Cost Estimation, Tender documents as a part of submission to customer in coordination with BD Team.
• Responsible for Optimum BOQ with Cost Estimation of overall Solar PV System to support BD Team.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary inputs from internal standards / BD team / external customers for designing optimum solar system and attending customer meetings as and when necessary.
• Responsible for on time preparation and submission of required documents as per Tender / BD requirements.
• A self- initiator, you will be able to manage your time and take the initiative

• Flexibility to work and adapt himself to different cultures and new projects

Minimum technical expertise with Skills and tools

o        Strong understanding of solar system design, including layout optimization and cost estimation.

o        Strong planning and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management. o Initiative-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Education       : BE., in Electrical Engineering

Experience    : 5-8 years of Solar work experience in Design and Engineering [particularly 4 years of Bid Estimation Experience is preferred]
