Job description

SIEC is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager specializing in Water & Wastewater Solutions to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have an MBA in Marketing or an equivalent qualification, along with 5–10 years of relevant industry experience. This role demands strong communication skills, a solid grasp of the water and wastewater sector, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic engagement.

Key Qualifications : Proficient in business development, technical site visit & project information collection client relationship management, and technical-commercial proposal preparation. Capable of generating process diagrams, Familiarity with equipment and instruments related to water and wastewater systems.

Location : Pune, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough market research, analysing dynamics and trends in water and wastewater sector. Build and maintain client relationships, understanding needs and tailoring solutions. Develop strategies to expand company's presence and revenue through new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Take full ownership of proposals, ensuring their thorough preparation and alignment with the client's needs.
  • Prepare technical-commercial proposals showcasing the company's expertise in water and wastewater solutions.
  • Present proposals to clients, effectively conveying the value proposition and benefits of the offered solutions.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to generate process diagrams relevant to water and wastewater systems.
  • Willing to travel across India & abroad as per project requirements
  • Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to network, showcase the company's capabilities, and stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, market trends, and client interactions to the management team.
