Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.

This role is contributing to the Smart power Business and

the role reports to Manufacturing Quality Manager and is in Nelamangala, Bangalore, India as a Quality Specialist / Test Engineering Supervisor, will support production processes to ensure optimization of cost, quality and on time delivery of products.

You will be mainly accountable for :

Safety & Quality Management – Assess risks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain conformance with all quality and production standards.

Team Leadership & Resource Planning – Act as the first contact for production teams, manage resources, schedules, and training to ensure smooth operations.

Technical & Process Support – Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams for validation, technical updates, and quality-related activities.

Customer & Continuous Improvement – Support customer issue resolution, participate in factory acceptance tests, and assist in process improvements for operational excellence.

Qualifications for the role :

BE / B. Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field with 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated supervisory experience with effective leadership and team coordination skills.

Practical experience in electrical / mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and electronic assembly.

Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015, and familiarity with IEEE, UL, IEC / EN 62040-3 standards, and SAP systems.

Skilled in calibration, test equipment handling, and analysis of parameters like wire continuity, HiPot, CT ratios, and power quality.

Proficient in laboratory testing — designing setups, conducting environmental / mechanical / electrical tests, recording data, and preparing detailed reports.

Experienced in development testing, including design of special test setups, documentation of procedures, and identification of abnormalities during testing.
