Shift : Rotational (1 : 30 PM 10 : 30 PM & 9 : 30 PM 6 : 30 AM)
Mode of Interview : 3 Rounds (Including Client Round; Face-to-Face May Be Required)
About the Role :
The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements. The role involves implementing ITSM modules, managing CMDB configurations, and ensuring smooth integration and performance across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :
- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow functionalities based on user and business feedback.
- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment of updates in production environments.
- Manage CMDB health, accuracy, and relationships between configuration items.
- Follow best practices for coding, security, and system administration within ServiceNow.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Participate in peer reviews, system upgrades, and version migrations.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for ServiceNow applications.
Required Skillsets :
Strong experience in ServiceNow development and customization across multiple modules.Hands-on expertise in ITSM and CMDB implementation.Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting techniques.Experience in building workflows, business rules, and UI scripts.Familiarity with REST / SOAP integrations and ServiceNow API framework.Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, ACLs, and data model.Ability to work in rotational shifts and coordinate with global teams.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.(ref : hirist.tech)
